What is the Crisis Call tool?
The Crisis Call tool is a page that can be accessed by any level user from the left hand menu in iCarol and the "CRISIS CALL" label can be renamed by your organization.
This page is meant to be used to post information for those who are using iCarol to reference. This can be anything from instructions on how to address particular phone calls, to emergency procedures, to additional resources for the work individuals are doing. These are only examples - there is really no limit on what this page can be used for. This tool allows rich text formatting, so you can format the text with bold, underline, italics, different font colors and sizes, bulleted or numbered lists, and even links to web pages.
To rename the CRISIS CALLS link that appears in the left side menu, complete the following steps:
- Log into iCarol as an Admin
- Click on ‘Admin Tools’ from the left menu
- Click on the ‘Setup’ tab
- At the bottom under, “Set Crisis Call Link”, the text can be renamed
- Note: There is a 20-character limit for this text, including spaces.
- Click ‘Save’ at the top of the page to save settings
- Once changed, the entered text will display in the left menu instead of the default “CRISIS CALL” text
Edit the CRISIS CALL Page Details
To edit and add information to the CRISIS CALL page, an Admin level user can complete the following steps:
- Click the 'Crisis Call' link in the left hand menu
- Click the 'Edit' link at the top of the page
- The Edit page will open where you can use the HTML editor tools to enter the information you would like to display on this page
- Click the 'Save' button
